Biography
Wael Abdallah is the Group Chief Investment Officer for Cambridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center.
Prior to joining the Cambridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center team, he was appointed at Amanat Holding PJSC (“Amanat”) as a Director in the Investment team with the objective of leading buy-side and sell-side transactions, as well as driving value creation through portfolio management of existing assets.
Mr. Wael served as a Principal at TVM Capital Healthcare Partners (“TVM”), supporting on fundraising, sourcing, and screening new deals (buy-side), and exit strategies (sell-side) as well as assisting the finance functions of TVM’s portfolio companies on ad-hoc financial budgeting and planning exercises.
Prior to that, Mr. Wael spent more than seven years with Ernst & Young (“EY”) – Dubai Office, of which approximately six years in EY’s Transaction Advisory Services practice. His last designation at EY was Senior Manager leading buy and sell-side financial and commercial due diligence, business valuations, and financial modelling engagements for predominantly clients within the real estate sector in the MENA region. Additionally, Mr. Wael played a key role in multiple M&A transactions for listed companies on DFM and ADX as well as having supported proposed IPO listings for UAE entities on LSE.
Mr. Wael initially joined EY in 2007 as a Team Leader in their Financial Services Risk Management practice after having served for five years in the Corporate Risk Management Department of Bank Audi.
He holds a BBA from the American University of Beirut.
